RESOLVED that the committee,
1. Approve the draft Conservation Area Appraisal for Richmond Road (East Twickenham) (available online –paragraph 7.1 of the report) for public consultation.
2. Delegate authority to the Head of Spatial Planning to make any necessary non-material drafting changes to the draft Conservation Area Appraisal ahead of public consultation (including minor text, graphic, mapping and layout changes), in consultation with the Chair of the Environment, Sustainability, Culture and Sports Committee.
3. Delegate authority to the Head of Spatial Planning to approve the final version of the Conservation Area Appraisal for adoption, in consultation with the Chair of the Environment, Sustainability, Culture and Sports Committee, in the event that no substantive issues are received as a result of public consultation. If it is considered that substantive issues are raised during the consultation that will lead to substantive changes in the Appraisal, then they will be reported back to a future meeting of this Committee.
4. Delegate authority to the Head of Spatial Planning to approve the removal of several buildings from the list of Buildings of Townscape Merit in (see paragraph 3.15, and Appendix 1 to the report), in consultation with the Chair of the Environment, Sustainability, Culture and Sports Committee, subject to no significant objections being received during the public consultation. If it is considered that substantive issues are raised during the consultation, then those individual proposals will be reported back to a future meeting of this Committee.
