Cycling courses for adults (ages 16 plus)

The Safety Education Team provide cycling courses for adults who live or work in the Borough and wish to either learn to cycle from scratch or improve their confidence and skills when cycling on the road. All courses take place in Twickenham during spring and summer evenings.

Bikes are available for the use of customers on Level 1 courses.

We offer 3 types of cycle training:

Whilst designed to be mainly practical, the courses also cover some theory and basic cycle maintenance.

One-to-ones are held at a meeting point of your choice, while Levels 1 and 2 group courses are held at the Richmond Adult Community College (RACC), Clifden Road, Twickenham TW1 4LT (visit our location and directions page for more information).

Each group course or one-to-one session costs £15 but is free for those on means tested benefits.
