RESOLVED that the Minutes of the meetings held on 11March 2010 be received and approved and the Chairman authorised to sign them.

To decide, having regard to the particular nature of the business to be transacted, whether or not to exclude the Press and Public during consideration of the following items on the grounds that they are likely to disclose exempt information by virtue of category  1, as defined in Access to Information Procedure Rule 10.4.

RESOLVED that in accordance with powers delegated by the Council to the Committee to take all necessary action to secure the appointment of a suitable candidate to the post of Head of Protective and Preventative Services, an offer of appointment was made to Mr Robert Henderson.
