REPORTS OF THE HEAD OF PAID SERVICE This report forms the matter for consideration at this meeting. Schedule 4 of the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007 states that a resolution, making a change in governance arrangements must be passed at a meeting which is specially convened for the purpose. The Act also requires that this resolution is passed before 31 December 2009. Report attached

Minutes: RESOLVED:
(1) That adoption of a new Leader and Cabinet executive model for the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames as described under the Local Government and Public Involvement in Health Act 2007 be approved, for implementation after the 2010 elections.
(2) That the Chief Executive be authorised to publish any relevant notices reflecting the Council’s new executive arrangements.
(3) That authority be delegated to the Chief Executive to ensure that any consequential amendments be made to the Constitution to reflect the new executive arrangements on implementation.
