This report sets out the options for the provision of ICT services at the Council beyond the expiry of the current contract and whilst the Council undergoes a period of significant change as the new strategic direction is implemented.

Cabinet received a report of the Cabinet Member for Performance regarding the provision of ICT services at the Council beyond the expiry of the current contract.

Resolved: That Cabinet:

1. Agree for the reasons set out in paragraph 3.7 of the report, to the continuation of ICT Services from SERCO for a further period of three and a half years beyond the end of the current contract using an existing framework agreement in place between SERCO and the London Borough of Southwark.
2. Delegate authority to finalise the legal agreement required between the Council and SERCO to the Director of Finance and Corporate Services following consultation with the Cabinet Member for Performance.
