£900 raised in support of Mayor’s Charities

Release Date: 29 November 2017

More than thirty people joined Mayor of Richmond upon Thames, Cllr Lisa Blakemore to shop for a cause, raising over £900 for the Mayor’s Charities.

The event, at L.K. Bennett’s Richmond store, gave attendees the chance to view the L.K. Bennett Collection and go into the draw to win a clutch bag and bottle of champagne.

 Cllr Blakemore said:

“I would like to thank everyone who came out to support this worthy cause, as well as L.K. Bennett for donating items for the prize draw.

“The true spirit of Christmas lies in giving back and so I am delighted to be donating the money raised to Off the Record, Me Too & Co and Cavernoma Alliance UK, who do great work in our community.”
