Civic Pride Fund
The Civic Pride Fund provides small grants of up to £5,000 for projects benefiting the local community. The fund is for one-off projects that make public places more attractive, enjoyable and distinctive, and help build stronger communities.
The first phase, which launched in July 2011, is open to constituted not-for-profit organisations. The second phase, which is to be launched in Spring/Summer of 2012 alongside the Village Action Plans, will be accepting applications from informal groups and individuals. Applicants are encouraged to use the Village Plans as inspiration for their potential project.
The Civic Pride Fund operates as an open funding round and applications are welcome throughout the year. All applications will be reviewed on a monthly basis and organisations will receive notification of a decision within six to eight weeks.
