ARThouse Open Studios Festival- Friday 11 - Sunday 20 June 2010

Managed by the Arts Service for the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames at Orleans House Gallery, ARThouse is a annual summer festival. Open to all artists, craftspeople, artist groups, community groups and schools the festival offers the participants the chance to open their doors to the public and exhibit their work.

With free admission to all, art enthusiasts and the general public have the opportunity to meet some of the area's finest creative craftspeople and buy their own original pieces.

In 2009 over 110 local artists took part, as well as three community groups and ten of the borough's schools, making it the largest festival yet.

Call for Artists

Applications are now open for the 2010 festival, deadline is Friday 19 February 2010.

The festival is open to all artists and creative craftspeople living or working in the Borough who would like to open their homes or studios to exhibit their work. ARThouse also welcomes applications from schools and community groups.The 2010 festival will take place over two weekends, from Friday 11 June to Sunday 20 June.

Please complete and return the 2010 application form(pdf, 177KB) by Friday 19 February.

Lonely Arts

As part of ARThouse 2010 we are keen to find exhibition space in various locations throughout the borough, so more people can join the ARThouse festival. If you have room available in your home or studio please state this on your application form. If you need exhibition space and would like to be matched up with another artist please contact Heather Burgess

We would also like to use spaces not usually associated with art exhibitions, and assign artists to make site specific art relevant to their exhibition space.  If you know of cafés, cinemas, theatres, empty shops, or other suitable spaces in the borough please contact Heather Burgess.
