Play Beach

Play Beach was officially opened by the Mayor on Wednesday, 27 July 2011. Families came from across the borough to experience the golden sands and gathered in search of pirate treasure, pretty shells and sand castles. The beach has now closed, but we are looking into the possibility of funding this extremely popular facility for summer 2012.  

Location: Champions Wharf, Riverside, Twickenham TW1 3DU (near St Mary's Church).
