Social and leisure activities

Life can’t be easy when you’re stuck at home all day, particularly if you need a little extra support. Getting out, taking part in leisure activities and socialising with friends can make all the difference.

  • Day Centres and Luncheon ClubsRichmond has Day Centres and Luncheon Clubs run by local community or voluntary organisations. They offer a range of activities, a chance to socialise and most provide a hot meal.
  • Specialist Day Centres and Intensive Day Care CentresThese centres are tailored to specific needs and most offer help with personal or practical care for those who are unable to get out and about by themselves.
  • Sports and leisureRichmond provides a whole range of cultural and community activities and the opportunities for sports and leisure activities are many and varied.
