Getting help to make a complaint

You can have a friend, neighbour or relative to help you make a complaint.

You can get independent advice from an organisation such as the Citizen's Advices Bureau. Richmond CAB service has three main offices in the borough. They can help you make a complaint and be with you at any meetings we may have with you. You can find the addresses on their website or you can call their central telephone advice line on 0844 826 9700.

You can also get help from specialist advice or advocacy organisations, such as MIND, Age Concern, the Ethnic Minorities Advocacy Group, etc. Please talk to a member of staff if you want more information about who can help you. Alternatively you can contact Richmond Council for Voluntary Services (RCVS) at www.richmondcvs.org.uk or call them on 020 8255 8500.

You can also get assistance from your local councillor or Member of Parliament.

We will only share information about you and your complaint with third parties if you have authorised us to do so.

If you need an interpreter or sign language interpreter or need information translated into another language, in Braille, on audio tape or in electronic format, please tell us when you first make your complaint so we can arrange this.
