Local Performance Framework

Following the All in One consultation in 2010/11, where residents were invited to identify priorities for the local area, we developed a new performance framework. This focuses upon providing residents with the information needed to hold us to account and become involved in local decision-making. In addition, robust performance management is vital in enabling us to manage within our resources and deliver on our ambition to become a Commissioning Council.  

The framework consists of measures across 4 aspects; these are shaped to help residents understand what they can expect from us and enable them to assess whether we are delivering our commitments. A further residents’ survey will be carried out in 2012 and will provide an update on the survey measures included in the framework(pdf, 298KB). Our performance will be then compared with that of other Local Authorities. The measures themselves may change over time as local priorities evolve and we move forward with our commissioning plans.
