Help with walking

If you’re finding it difficult to walk around inside your home and feel that you need a walking stick or frame, you should speak to your GP who can refer you to a physiotherapist.

They can visit you to carry out an assessment to see which walking aid would suit you and show you how to use it safely.

Wheelchairs

Queen Mary's Hospital Roehampton offers a Wheelchair Service for people registered with GP's in Richmond. The service provides manual or powered wheelchairs for people who need them due to a permanent condition affecting their mobility.

Please contact your GP, therapist or nursing team for a referral to the service.

The British Red Cross Society may also be able to provide wheelchairs and other equipment for short term use.

Please contact me about this service.
