Our standards
Richmond upon Thames was one of the first two London authorities to achieve the Government target of reducing road casualties by the year 2010. A key element of this was the high quality 'education, training and publicity’ developed by the Safety Education Team.
It is our aim to continue to provide the highest quality across all of our services to help fulfil the objectives as outlined in the current Transport Strategy for Richmond Upon Thames "to meet our casualty reduction aspirations in line with the Department for Transports Strategic Framework for Road Safety". All members of the team undergo Continual Professional Development and all services are monitored and evaluated.
