Byelaws and local legislation

Byelaws are local laws made by bodies such as local authorities under statutory powers. Their purpose is to prohibit or regulate comparatively minor localised activity. For more about the Borough's byelaws read our background page.

The documents date from 1896 onwards, published in PDF format. They are scanned copies, and we apologise for any areas of poor legibility.
